Color combo

Anyone got a red JK with gray interior and a tan soft top?

i didn't even know they made a tan soft top for JK but I found one for sale and I am curious how that will look all put together.

I don't think it'll look too bad if it's a lighter tan on bright red. My Jeep is Red Rock (dark metallic red) with gray interior. I'm trying to keep a black and red type theme going and tan would look goofy on mine. But I think light tans go well with bright reds, yellows, and oranges. It makes a balance to my eyes.

I was interested in the tan soft top but the ones for the JK aren't khaki like the older models. Its closer to a grey then a brown color

Was tan ever an interior option? I am just having trouble getting my head around it.

Yeah I've seen a couple JK's tan or khaki inside. Vast majority is gray though, but they're out there.

Saw the top in person tonight. It does look almost gray. But next to the seats and black carpet, you can tell it's more brown. It's a subtle difference though.

Doesn't matter. The person had every part except the brackets for bows. Need to see how much those are before committing to the top.

Still not convinced on the color though.

If it's such a small difference, it might just look tarnished (tarnished right? Faded, changed colour...you know what I mean...). So might be better to just stick with the black.

Its kinda like wearing black shoes and a brown belt lol I personally would have to have my interior match my top, mines flame red dark grey interior and black top. But if your not the kind of person that worries about that kind of thing you'll have just as much fun in that Jeep as you would in one that had matching color combo lol

That's exactly it! And in this case, the belt is even grayish/brown. Meaning you were sooooo close.......

I agree. I felt like tan would have been a sweet top to go with my rescue green... but its not the brownish tan that other models get. Its more of a grey
