Colorado Fire

Some of you may have heard of the wildfire going on near Denver. I saw this video and I hope it's not someone on the forum, looks like it's filmed in a Rubicon

Intense video of a guy escaping the fire

The crazy thing is that it started out as a controlled burn.

Funny thing is if I did a controlled burn in my yard and it got away from me, I'm liable. CDF does it and levels entire towns, their not liable.

It's way worse than the 10 day forecast. This March is the driest March in history here, and we've had crazy winds for the last few months

Exactly! A couple of people have died already with more than a dozen homes destroyed plus who knows how many animals (dogs, cats, horses) have been lost as well. It's terrible.

That's horrible. Last summer there was one in a town about 2 hours north of where I live. Population was about 5000. Burned down 2/3 of the town. Had to drive through it a couple weeks after. Was horrible.

Nevermind the Lab, it burned half of the town! Many times I would've been happy to see the factory where I work burn, but never my house.
