I also have been trying to find weights on tires and without much luck. I don't know why manufactures don't list the weight. I don't know if you are going to find a decent tire in 37" size that is load range C. Please let us know what you find.
In many cases light tires also mean small tires. Many of the light 37" tires are barely bigger then a 35" Pitbull or bogger.
You don't hear many people speak of swampers here because they are made more for mud and are a very soft compound. They don't last long on a DD and you don't see them on the rocks for Jeeps too much. Buggy guys tend to use them more in bigger sizes.
37x12.50x17 Pitbull vs 37x12.50x17 Mastercraft MXT
A load range C in a 37" should still offer a very large load capacity. So much of a tires load capacity is a function of tire size.
I would tend to suspect that a 69 pound 37" tire would be about the lightest available.
Tires are one black hole that is exasperating to study.
Why is it that so many of the top buggies and crawlers at the top events use Swampers? Yet nobody around here talks about Swampers? Perhaps there are few choices when goes beyond 44"?

Rednecks and rock bouncers use swampers and they usually cut them to bejesus. Nobody else does because they suck. Swampers are ancient tire technology. Honestly I'm suprised anybody would still buy them with the amount of great tires there are out there with compounds that aren't still from the 1980s.
This all reminds me of a story that I once heard. That being that Michelin is one of the few majors that actually gives you the tire size that they advertise. I wish Michelin was interested in off road. Nothing but good experience with that brand...

I know Toyo is looking at releasing a load range C in the flotation sizes later this year. They said this was specifically for the Jeep community. They just released a load range F for the 3/4 ton truck crowd so they could run the proper pressures for the tpms. I will buy them when they are released.
You get a lot of tire for the money though. I wonder what magic ingredients are poured into the BF Goodrich Krawler to warrant their price. I seen a display at Sams Club for ~$647...though it was big...maybe even 39".
Maxxis Trepador stickies are also a bit on the high end....much like the Pitbull.
