they kind of have to be there. Some states (PA included) mandate it for inspection. This is why when you rip a sticker one off, whenever you take your car to the dealership for service it comes out with another one on it and sometimes get charged for it.

Jimbo, do you know if the swap works for JK's? It's cake on a TJ, and their still there, just on the other side...
Edit: Never mind, I just read the rest of your post.

OP, see if the visor will pull off the arm. If so, then pull them and switch sides...

how do you switch the visors on a TJ. I am sitting with them right now and am completely stumped as to what to do. One is a right visor and the other is a left???

I've found that when things try to stay dressed longer than you like, give them a few drinks...

Heh Heh, yea, I took my drivers side decal off, on the way home from the dealer when the jeep was squeeky new-

Then the passenger side--at home, but mine came off easy, ah-the decals !!

I try to take my off and is stock there pretty good. they are really hard to come off and break in small pieces. I have spend like 30min and took off like 25% only passenger side and driver side is like twice as big

I peeled mine off when it was new(08) and they came off cleanly. And here I thought those stickers only bothered me.

I pulled mine last week. Just let her sit in the sun with the top off for a few hours, they peeled off easily and in one piece.

Just found the forums last evening and was reading till way past bedtime. Found this post and thought I'd try it this morning on my 4 door. I believe the design is completely different as I got the visors off the shaft. But there is some sort of mechanism inside that is preventing me from sliding them back on. If you have a trick to get tham back on, I'd appreciate it.

I've removed both visor stickers, and both X stickers on my JK with a little gasoline on a rag and patience.

just get 2 rags. dump gasoline on 1 and ring it out well. the trick is to begin peeling up an edge with your finger. then wipe the gas rag on that corner. the fuel eats that glue like it's nothing. after a few mins it'll pop enough up that you can grab and pull.

once it's off, wipe the area with your gas rag to remove any left over glue, then wipe it clean again with the dry rag.

lighter fluid works well too if gas isn't available

Sticker removal? Just apply a little heat from a hair dryer...they'll peel right off.

on TJ's they just pull right out. it takes a little effort, and I always have trouble getting them back in. I don't see why JK's would be any different.

if you can't pull them out let me know. I'll run outside, take mine off, and tell ya what I did

I can get them off...which I already did take them both off. I just can't get the rod back in to the visor itself. it seems like there is something blocking it.

These stickers bother me so much as well, I wish I could take them off, but they seem like they are stuck there for good, and I hate to have that nasty residue left on them. Also, if what people are saying is true, and the dealer puts them back on, I'd be very angry!

Make sure you are pushing straight and not at an angle Reggie.... If they came off, they'll go back on....

Up to 2009, they come off easy. The 2010 visors have more fabric and they will not peel off.

Reggie, wiggle just a little to make sure it's aligned and give it a "bump" on the end with the heel of your palm. It may need to be encouraged a little.

I know you have to be thinking "HOLY CARP broke the doggone thing! Now what am I gonna do!?"
