Costco deal in CA

Anyone use the Costco pricing to get a JK? What model and what did you pay? How much off sticker or below invoice? My wife and I got $7k off her Grand Cherokee with no haggle.

Costco isn't bad, but I doubt they can beat the "Tread Lightly" discount. 1% under invoice with no haggling. Feel free to haggle from that point as well, especially if there are rebates or dealer incentives out there.

What do you need to do to get the tread lightly deal? Never heard of it.

You have to be a member of Tread Lightly for at least 30 days PRIOR to buying. I didn't realize that and tried to sign up just before purchase. I got my Jeep from Orange Coast in San Juan Capistrano (I think). I never even went to the dealer. Found what I wanted in their online inventory, contacted their internet sales, and got 1% below invoice without TreadLightly. They drove the Jeep up to Bakersfield and I signed the papers in my living room.

I used Costco to buy my JKUR and it came in at 5% under invoice.

Good to know for both options. I feel we made out like a bandit with the Costco deal on my wife's Cherokee. Fully loaded and a great price. I'll look into both. Thanks everyone!

We used Costco for our Infinity buy and tried the same with the Jeep. However we were limited on the Jeep purchase in finding the set-up we wanted in stock at participating dealers. (As in no frills). They won't order it to your specs under Costco. They come as close as they based on stock. Most of the Costco dealers had more "loaded" Jeeps.
We went to Huntington Beach Jeep. Every other month or so they run a Jeep at a ridiculous price. Call it a bait ad- but they will sell it as advertised with no issues. Got my no frills Sport for I think $4k under invoice. $26K to $22K. No one could beat the price-Even the Costco dealers.
But I was willing to wait for "the deal" and wasn't that picky. My main goal was price so I'd have money to spend on mods.

Plus, since technically it isn't a "Tread Lightly" discount but instead qualifies the purchaser to buy in the Affiliate program it may be worth the Jeep buyers time to inquire if any other affiliation already gets them in this (and save the $100).

All good to know guys. I'll probably check the price on one I'm looking for and get the Costco price and then go from there before I buy.
