Dude,

Online Mobile 1 5qt = $25.17

25.17/5 = $5.03 per qt <- Walmart

26.99/6 = $4.49 per qt <- Costco

Mobile 1 is not approved for the 3.6 (so I hear on the forum), but I use it because I can't find 5w30 at the oil change places. At my age I don't do it myself any more, don't have to.

Thanks for the heads up. I always max out my available quantity when they do this.

Here is a place to get filters cheap.. www.filter1.com
$4.52 each for Wix 57526 (2012 3.6L)

I was paying $14.99 at my local chain auto parts store.

BTW, I don't give a f*ck if someone doesn't like Wix either.

Damn, I just bought maybe 20 filters for the 2012 and then decided to trade it for a 2014 right after...genius!

At least the oil will work regardless of model year.

Yeah, they did. It is slightly different in size and had an extra plastic nub-like thing on the end.

I went for an oil change a few weeks ago on my 14 jkru and Mr.lube didn't even have any of the oil filters. They realized this after they drained my oil so they filled it back up and threw the old one back on and called me two days later.

Thanks for the site!!! I love wix filters, especially because they also make k&n and Mobil filters.

i run the same filter, get them at Oreileys, about 6$. Bought one a few months back and was charged 14$ sent copies of receipts dot corporate with a nice little letter and was told we're dropping back down. And sent a 30$ gift card... Anyway just changed oil in my wife's Chrysler town & country with the jeep motor in it, got same filter and there was some sort of little cap thing in the top center hole, don't recall it before on the wix, you seen this?

How can anyone be negative on wix filters--the filter tests say it all--and those using the Amsoil, Fram, NAPA gold, and K&N may want to schedule there rebuilds now---lol. Just another test --

Last time I bought from Walmart was about $23, better for me as I don't have Costco membership and not willing to pay for it.

You're saying "about $23", so we'll stick with $23. That's $4.60/qt which is still more expensive than Costco's price.

We'll leave the Costco membership out of it.

Yes, O'Reilly's is where I paid 14.99 +tax.

I did notice when I changed the oil a week ago that a fitting was added so the filter can clip to the filler cap. Nice touch.

Wal-Mart has it all the time at this price, not just a sale.

True dat. No matter how the nice neighborhood may be, Wal-Mart always makes me feel like trash.
