Couple of questions from a newby

Any know the difference between quick order package 24B and 24S?

What ever I buy I know I'll want to upgrade to lockers and aftermarket wheels in the future. Would getting a JK with alloys and a LSD be worth the expense? I hear its harder to install a locker on a LSD diff. than an open.

Can't help on your first question.

As to the second two questions, no. A locker will replace your LSD, so--if you're sure you're going with a locker--don't pay for the factory LSD. Similarly, if you're certain you'll be replacing the wheels, don't pay to upgrade them with the nicer factory wheels.

It is not harder to replace a LSD over an open. Both have to be completely removed and the new carrier with lockers installed.

I have the Trac-Loc LSD rear axle and just installed a front locker and I am please with that set up. I thought that I would change the rear LSD out later but after seeing how well the front locker with the LSD rear works together, i no longer feel the need for a rear locker.
