Anyone with a white jeep have cowl covers that they could post a picture of? Thanks!

Any experience if the RR covers actually prevent dents forming if they're installed in the first place?

I know this thread is old (but I'm not the one who bumped it first - someone did last week LOL)...

How is the Mopar paint holding up? Did you sand the covers at all before painting or did the paint take OK?

I just bought a used 2012 and am pretty sure the dealer dinged it when detailing it because the pictures I have before sale didn't show any dent there (and I have not removed the doors). It's silver as well and yours looks great with the silver guards. Definitely wanna do this.

This is one of my favorite things about my Quadratec Automatic Mirror Movers. Literally impossible to get idiot dimples.

Did the blow dryer, air duster trick on my wifes car. Similar size dent as a "Door Dimple" removed very easy.

I am getting the warrior cowl covers, I try not to use 3M whenever possible, the screwed in warrior covers are lower profile and metal. RR look nice but prefer the diamond black look.

Will post pics as soon as installed.

I have the Rugged Ridge Cowl covers and love them. Prior to installing, I added a few additional strips of 3M tape....
I thought about the Warrior covers, but did not want to drill into the body. If I can get by without drilling holes in a perfectly good piece of sheetmetal I will use the alternate part or method.

I understand completely. I've got my own quirks about drilling into exterior sheetmetal if not necessary! I do like the Warrior product and thought very seriously about it before deciding on the peel and stick version.
Be sure to post some pics when done...

I got them and I installed them.

1. Had to bend them slightly into place (didn't like that)
2. They should have a rubber backing to fill in ANY gaps to prevent anything get under there and rusting. I used sealant all around parameter.

3. I do love the look and the fact they are metal.

I bought mine through Amazon, and they are plastic, but have the diamond plate look. I love these. For $20, it was worth the try.

Question...are these cowl covers (the plastic ones) thick enough to prevent these dimples if the door accidentally swings wide open?
