Cruise control issue

I was on I-35 NB and had my CC set for the prior several minutes. i was traveling uphill and was buffeted by the wind from an 18 wheeler and the CC just shut down as if i had hit the brakes. I know i did not accidentally hit the brakes, so save that one! :P the lack of accelerator and decreasing speed caught me by suprise and it took me a second to figure out what happened.

Anyone else seen this before?

Yes, I reset the CC right away and have had no more issues. Just wondering if it is something I should just forget about or...?

I have had CC drop out on me @ high speeds at bumps and heavy winds. Might be a safety feature.

It's your ESP engaging, you should see a yellow caution light on your cluster when this happens. It's a safety feature
