cruise control not working

I went through a real bad mudhole and now the ESP light, traction loss light and ABS light are all stuck on. And my cruise control isn't working anymore. IV got a real long drive next weekend and want cruise control lol... IV cleaned all mud put from around sensors for ABS and still nothing.

Any ideas??

you might try honking the horn for the cruise control, there are some other threads on here about steering wheel controls not working due to a spring in the steering column and that honking the horn will sometimes fix those issues.

Start it up turn all the way to the left. Then turn all the way to the right. Turn of the engine. Restart it and drive for about 30 seconds and you traction light will go off.

Maybe after you reset the lights the cruise will work.

If you have a bad wheel sensor than your cruse will not work and the lights will stay on.

Just got back from the dealer for a wheel sensor issue. Lights were on an no cruise control. Bad wire was replaced, and now everything is fine.

If your clock spring is bad, you wont have cruise and all your lights will stay on. The clock spring now has an extended warranty so you might still be covered
