Cruise Control Shut off

I have a 13 JKUR and when I have the cruise control and drive over bumpy roads ( city highway, bridge dividers, and pot holes) the cruise control shuts off. A little annoying. You guys get that? Is it Rubicon specific? is it my jeep specific? or all jeeps do it?

Had this with my 2012. Was told its suppose to happen as the computer thinks your jeep is slipping and so fit shuts it off as it would if u lost control on ice.

Thanks. That's too sensitive. I drive the same roads on my Camry and Highlander. The highlander has more safety features than your average 767 and it doesn't shut off on those bumps with Cruise.

It's not a matter of safety features or sensitivity but one of suspension. Would be willing to bet that the Highlanders suspension is a little more compliant than the Wranglers and therefore keeps the tires planted to the ground a little better at speed.

stability control works by applying one or more of the brakes, and cruise control disengages when the brakes are applied... so totally normal, and only a quick resume button away
