Custom paint job

So, I filled out a NCAA bracket at Hooters and won a $500 custom paint job...I dont have a clue what areas to get done! On my 2010 Wrangler It doesnt seem like $500 will go far...but Im just wondering if other people have had custom paint jobs done on their jeeps and what exactly they got done and how much it costs. thanks.

Well where is this custom paint job coming from. I would def look at their past work before getting it done. You have a 2010 and really shouldnt need paint at all. Maybe sell it to someone local that needs paint for around $400 and buy some jeep mods?

I agree, there is really no need to paint it. However, I'm sure you can craigslist it and get something you can use for the $$$.

heres a gallery...that would be a good idea, just selling it to somebody and get some bigger tires or something...The jeep is completely stock.

500 bucks would get you a little more than a complete detail at my shop..... don't let some one ruin your new jeep with this 500 dollar mystery package. And in my opinion there are no good custom paint jobs on jeeps. Keep it stock.

Yea, don't ruin a perfectly good paint job with a cheap custom job. $500 wouldn't go very far if it was a high quality paint job.

Let them paint a spare tire cover for you, and a license plate maybe for the front... That'd be it for me for $500.... Not gonna get much else, and like everyone has said already, DON'T let them touch the Jeep paint......

I just spent $250 getting two Element door metal covers painted Flame Red, to match our new JK.

But I could use 500 bucks worth of paint on my CJ. Bumpers, spray the back of the mirrors, that tire carrier could use some paint, and the black grill while they're at it. It'd make it look nice.

some custom airbrushing would be cool. but it also depends on the color of your wrangler and what you ended up getting. i say get what you want as long as it looks good to you. if you like your jeep how it is then i would have them paint a tire cover for you or as others have said i am sure somebody would buy it from you.

X2.

Or a nice quick camo job in all flat colors.
That would be sweet. And Hooters chicks dig it.

you could always pick up a hood, and just have that done. keep your original hood stored somewhere.

of course, where you would find a hood for a new jeep is a different story.
