Customize stock fenders into flat fenders

I really want to cut my fenders and make them into flat fenders. I have my grinder ready wanting to do this but jut curious on how others did it and how far off the car they cut them and so on... I w Where u made your cut lines... Would like some knowledge on this if anybody can help... Thx guys ... Phil

I did this mod a while back. I had 33" tires with a 2" lift. Due to Pa laws I had to have tire coverage so all I did was trim the vertical lip off. It is an easy mod to do, but I wish I wouldn't have done it afterwards. It left to much gap in the wheel wells for my taste. To each his own though. It's a cheap and simple mod that some people can do and it looks great on some jeeps. Just not my taste.

Are you saying the stubbies like the vdp won't fly in PA?

Stubby bumpers are fine. I have the VDP. Full width fenders are required though. No part of the tire can be further out than the fender. And if a cop wants to they can impound your jeep on the spot if u aren't covered.
