What a great woman! Sometimes, I think that my wife's mission is to close off every avenue of pleasure that I have.

My wife wheels with me so while out on the trail she asks, "Why does so and so' Jeep not hit, bang scrape or get up the hills so easy?" I give her the proper responses and she, most of the time goes, "Well I think ours needs to that too." Your wish is my command....

Next weekend we are wheeling with someone that just installed a RIPP. Hmmmmmmm....Chuck, don't ruin this for me....

I hope to be closing on my boat sale later today. I will have taken a $150k loss on it since '06 when I bought it new. This plus all the slip rental, interest, maintenance and of course fuel. Don't EVER buy a boat.

Now THAT'S more like it!!!! That's the type of despair that makes me feel better. The best part will be when she tries to get in after lift and 35s (she's only 5 foot). I can just picture the glare...

13K miles later and now I'm debating Rock Krawler 2.5 MAX or AEV 2.5 to fit some 35 KM2s. Damn. You. All. Now how in the hell am I going to have any credibility left in the house? All of your pictures of sexy 35s and flexing on seemingly monstrous boulders.
The km2 is on national backorder, you can still find some if you look hard enough though.

Jeep's don't lose thier value like other things.

I have always heard that there are two happy days in a boat owners life, they day the buy it and the day they sell it.

You won't hear that about a jeep owner. Every past jeep owner I have talked with has always said, "I miss my jeep and want another one".

True. What I meant about being the same is the amount of money they both cost. Boat=loss of value, jeep=cost of mods. Should have been more clear. I'm screwed. I have both..

Way to funny. We started with a 2012 JKU was just suppose to be our weekend convertible. Here is where it stands today. 3" lift 35" MT mudders 17" wheels, ARB lockers, chromoly axels, 4.88 gears, ARB diff covers. 44 magnum tubes, C's and gussets, death wobble kit, complete rockhard 4x4 skid plates, rockhard front and rear bumpers. I could go on but you get the point.

Don't forget to talk about what you can sell all of your OEM parts for! Sold my stock springs, shocks, wheels and tires. Traded stock bumper for a high lift jack. I bought a lot of my parts used and sold my OEM parts. Make sure to leave the cash from the old parts on the counter for a few days (before it is reinvested in the next MOD)

Persistence, persistence, persistence. Ha!!!! I went from "negotiating" an AEV 2.5 lift to winning a Rock Krawler 2.5 flex kit. I unfortunately heard the KM2s are also back ordered everywhere from a local Jeeper. I guess I could always order the kit, install it and wheel with the stocker 32s in the meantime....but where's the fun in that??!?!?!

Anyone have any experience with the 2.5 Flex RK kit? I'm thinking some bump stops (duh!), Bilstein 5100 or Fox 2.0 (edging toward bilsteins) and a procal. Will I need an exhaust spacer with my 2012 Auto Rubi??? Also, will the front Driveshaft take a crap on me if I go with this lift?
Thanks guys.

Don't ever go look in the threads about 37's. Seriously... huge consequences even for the single guy.

My gf gets scared when she comes wheelin with me lol. Last time I took her. I was crawlin through a couple boulders the size of my jeep along the side of a rather big steep hill ( on my side). And as I was. Crawlin it tilted the jeep pritty far over to be Hill side ( comfortably stable to me). I had my head out the window to watch my driver front tire. And I ask her how I'm lookin on that side. And when I get no response I look over and she is no longer in the seat. But standing on a rock outside my keep givin me a look like I'm a retard lol. She stepped out as I was crawlin without making a sound lol. Needless to say. She doesn't come anymore lol. She's not into it
