Dash organizer

Anyone installed the Daystar dash organizer that goes above the radio? Wondering how hard they are to put in.

Lots of folks have it, including me. It only works in 2007 through 2010 Jeeps FYI--it won't fit in 2011s or 2012s.

The install is almost foolishly easy. Here's a video:

The install is easy enough for anybody to handle. Here's a video:

Thanks I have a 2010. I think I will order one to give me a little more room.

I put it on in the parking lot after I bought it. If u can put batteries in a remote then u can install it. Yank hard up on the old one. Pull it off. Switch over the metal clips. Install the new one.

Yep, I'd recommend it. If for some reason mine was damaged or lost, I'd get another.

You can also mod it to be a bit more useful/friendly. Check out this thread over at jeepforum for a very detailed write up.

I like the drawer liner. I used baseball bat grip tape on mine.

Heh Heh, yeah, Chrispy-most people don't like that much crap on the dash-if it's a DD and mine is used 99% off-road anyway !
