Dash rattle

I have a 2012 2dr spt auto w/321s after 13k I have developed a rattle behind the dash only at idle goe's away as soon as i give it gas its not the fan motor nothing has dropped in to the crack between dash and windshield has anyone had this happen and if so what was the fix . I know its under warranty but any ideas before I take it in would be helpfull thanks Joe.

My 2010 does the same thing, the dealer fixed it once only for the it to come back after a few months. I believe it's a bundle of wires that causes the rattle. I sure would like to know exactly what it is.

Pop the glove box out and look back there for two metal tubes towards the left side. They are close together and will rub or chatter against eachother often. The easiest fix is to take a piece of hose cut long and wrap it on one to insulate them and zip tie it in place. This is the most common noise. There is also a few groups of wiring back there that may have come loose, that's one you will just have to check by where you hear the noise.
