dash rattle

When I start up the JK (manny tranny), I get a brief rattle coming from behind the dash in the middle. It's like the entire dash is on mounts and the engine shake makes it rattle. It also does it as I turn the Jeep off. Any ideas on what this could be? I get the rattle over some bumps too. I took the glove box out and noticed that the passenger side footwell air vent tubing was loose, but when I rattle it with my hand, it doesn't sound the same to me.

TIA for any help!

It ended up being the filter on my intake rattling against the side of the engine compartment.

Little rattles/squeeks/noises drive me nuts.

I've got a couple tiny intermittent sounds I haven't tracked down yet. That they occur only about 5% of the time is of little relief.

I've got another one under the gear shift that sounds like little gear teeth "chinging" against each other at about 20 - 30 mph. Once I engage the clutch, it goes away.

I get one from the wires going to the tweeter tapping on the plastic in the dash. I keep meaning to zip tie better but it's hard to get fingers in there and I don't want to disassemble it.

I got a rattle from where the bracket was that tied the original radio to the dash. When I replaced the radio, I didn't put the bolts back on and it took a month to figure out what it was. UGH, it mad me insane!
