How much for a foot rest? Does it provide any actual comfort?

Well, I was going to post about the same dead pedal I just installed, but since all of you manual drivers have turned this into something funny I'll just pass. Maybe floating your foot on the clutch is why so many are having throw out bearing problems?

Guess I'm not the only one who plays with my knob.

Anyone ever get a dead pedal for a manual?

I'm pretty sure my previous manual cars have had a dead pedal to the left of the clutch. I noticed when I test drove a manual JKU, there was nowhere to put my foot when I wasn't shifting...it felt odd. I'm thinking of installing one in my 2012 when I get it. Just curious if anyone's had experience with it since I think all of the pictures I've seen of them are on autos.

If it feels good to you then more power to you. Almost sounds like a perverts reply though. J/k of course.

A dead pedal would be a great addition, especialy on a long trip. If you have ever driven some high end sports cars you would for sure know that they are not useless.
