Dead Pedal Anyone?

Has anyone installed a dead pedal and care to give their opinion/review?

There's a couple guys on here, that haveem and it's a real left foot pleaser, for relaxation or as a pressure point for body language ()-

Mine comes in real handy when I'm in 4lo, cause it helps me keep my left foot away from the brake !

M.O.R.E. is the mfg-

I've got one too. It's nice for longer road trips, adjusting yourself in the seat, or descending steep hills. The newer version (Jimbo's is the older one IIRC) has three "adjustment settings" that is useful for getting it at a comfortable position. Super easy install and well made product.

Unless you rest your foot on the clutch pedal "all the time", it'll work for sticks also-

Please-this is not an arguable subject !

Do they make it for a manual? 4 pedals

With my Tj I used to be able to rest my foot on the pedal. Jk -- much more sensitive clutch pedal

Just put the M.O.R.E. dead pedal in my JK and man!! What a difference in comfort, it's just so natural to put your foot on that pedal. I highly recommend anyone with an Automatic to put this in their JK, these should have been standard equipment from JEEP

Sure if you can fit it in between the clutch and the door why not? My current vehicle (waiting on my Jeep to be built) a M/T 350Z has one and it's great for when you are cruising on the highway. I don't know if there is room for one on a M/T JK/JKU or not but if there is I'll probably be looking into getting one.

Just installed the MORE pedal I got for Christmas. Very easy to install and feels great! I like the 3 position settings. Lets you get it right where you want it.

I've been on the fence for this one but now I'm starting to fall towards "add to cart". I'm 6'4" and can rest my foot up against the way back but it's not quite right and leaves me all tweaked out of centered. I've been having some minor pains in my lower rear areas since I began driving the Jeep. I've been thinking it's the seats, but maybe this will help.

According to Quadratec, the MORE dead pedal doesn't work on a manual. I used to have a dead pedal on my mustang and I liked it. I was thinking about it for my 6spd wrangler but it doesn't sound like it'll work.

That didn't take long. Haha. I think you'll like it. I certainly enjoy mine although the adjustability give me too many choices (3- you can see how good I am with choices) and I'm thinking about trying another setting just for kicks.

It will not fit in the M/T due to space limitations.
