Bottom line is the dealer doesnt have to accept the deal even if it qualifies for affiliate. The affiliate deal is an incentive for the buyer, not the dealer. The market controls the price. We got one and it sold at sticker. Fair deal for both the buyer and seller.

[QUOTE=Lokedjk;3918620]I was in the same boat, two dealers would not take the discount but finally found the third dealer would. Third time is the charm, now waiting on it to arrive. I unlike you did not have a trade- in. I sold out right the same day. I was told that ALL wranglers apply for Affiliate Rewards. This is coming from a highly trusted source here on WF, good luck.[/QUOTE

Thanks

I'd hate myself for feeling like I got screwed over. Isn't Anvil is a standard color in 2015? Get an Anvil Sport with 3.73's, AEV hood, Eaton lockers, some bumpers, and spend the remaining 10k however you want.
I hear that. I like anvil but its not a priority color.

It's not the dealer. 50 was the bottom line on the sticker so it's 47 with discount. That's Canadian dollars with a full list of options. It's a nice piece.

That is what makes the internet bittersweet. Nice because it levels the playing field, but bad because someone is pissed they paid 5 bucks more than someone or has a huge ego trip because they paid 5 bucks less.

Anvil is available on the 2014 models, yes.

If a sport fits what you need, great.

Treating the people that bought the 10A like suckers serves no purpose. If it makes them happy, why do others care?

Auto, color match top, dual tops, and navigation. 50 Canadian with options and

Do you have Costco where you live? You get like $5000 off the MSRP by using the Costco Auto Program. The dealership has to be participating in the program to get the discount. I am also pretty positive you could also use your Coca-Cola discount with that, since they give military members an additional $500 off.

Also, all who keep talking about the price of the 10A, don't you understand that if you buy a Rubicon Unlimited with the basic same options that the 10A has stock you are still spending at least 42K.

You couldn't be more wrong! Try doing a little research before you just throw out a useless comment..... and, if you're a car salesman... well that explains everything....

If the dealer accepts the Affiliates program on any vehicle (it's downright hard to find one who doesn't), they must accept it on all. Chrysler pays the dealer 2% of invoice to sell to the qualified customer for 1% under, so the dealer actually clears 1% over invoice. Nice profit for dealer, nice no-hassle deal for the buyer.

And, Chrysler rigidly enforces the guaranteed provisions of the deal.

I really don't need this thing but I'm at a point in my life where I want to treat myself. I pretty much don't care if people think I'm crazy for spending a bunch of money on it. I'm the guy working 60 hours a week.

You've earned it, enjoy it!

And 10As are around $40K MSRP $38K invoice, not $50K......

Yes. Costco is a couple blocks away but only has a Ford incentive program here. I did the math also and I support your calculations. It's very close but you get a few goodies that you can't add to a standard rubicon. I'm looking for a unique jeep and this is one.

Yes, JKR10A actually starts at $36K and the JKUR10A starts at $39K. If anything you are paying $5K more for the 10A.

I am not sure how it is where you live, but maybe it could be something you could ask them about. Call them 1-800-755-2519

And you are right.. you get some cool goodies with the 10A than a regular Rubicon.

Yes. It's possible but a couple mods need to be done to import one. Not to mention by the time I convert to US dollars the price is the same. I would import an AEV conversion if I was going to go that route.

I would call chrysler up and report their asses... and just look at another dealership. make an order for a 2014 model in the color and trim of your choice. and spend the extra $20k or so you saved on mods. that should be well worth it.

Don't be like the others on here and get suckered. especially due to the fact that rare color is now available on the 14 models across the board.

Please understand that was not my intent (if that was even directed at me).

I would be hard on myself if I felt like I got taken. I probably could have haggled another few hundred off my plain-jane Sport, but it was at the point where I was happy and not worth the money vs. the time.

When it gets into the thousands, I'd start getting queasy.

Save 20k? A base rubicon is over 30k. Secondly, this is a foreign country where there might be additional taxes and import fees, not to mention exchange rates.

You did not want to pay the extra for the 10A, fine. Please stop trying to be a buzzkill for those of us that did. Why not just be happy people got a Jeep they wanted?

People are only suckers if they choose to believe they are. Not sure what you are getting out of this.

Not toward you specifically, I just added it to one of those I saw. There have been a number of posts on here disparaging 10A purchasers. I do not get it. Trying to make someone feel bad for buying a Jeep? Seems contradictory to the reason this forum exists.

I've heard that that Keswick dealer is a real pain to deal with. They had a Blue Pearl Sport that I really wanted but they would not give it to my dealer at a decent price. Another dealer I went to wouldn't even call them he said he wouldn't deal with them they are too difficult to work with.

However my dealer offered me a 2014 for the same price as the 2013's so you should be able to get a 2014 with the current discount. Now I haven't taken delivery yet but I have signed paperwork so the price should hold.

Best Internet prices I've seen are from Peel Chrysler. Many of the out of town dealers (Like Keswick S&B) seem to have higher sticker prices and lower discounts so perhaps you need to look at more Toronto area dealers to get a feel on prices.

The Blue Sport they have for $25,340 I was quoted $22,445 for in Rugged Brown at Peel. So try a big city dealer, get a quote and see if they will price match.

Good lord, doesn't even have the 730N for that price!!!
The body coloring is not helping the price.

Getahemi - I have a 10A and love it (my first jeep). I know the dealer I used in Hamilton had 2 other unlimited 10a's coming in both anvil.

1 - auto,730 nav, black top and fender, red leather
1 - standard (not sure about other options on this one)

It's a long story but at one time I had both of these ordered for me, but ended up getting another one when some backed out of it.

PM me if you would like salesman email.

Not sure if this is right.. but I'm glad Chrysler blocked dealers from ordering the 10A during pre-sale. This eliminated the potential for dealers to buy all the allocations for dealer inventory and jack up the prices - worked perfect and I hope they do this more often.

All's fair in love and war.
