Just keep in mind, you are not limited to 1% below invoice. Chrysler rebates 2% of the invoice price to the dealer (minus $75), and 1% of that is supposed to be passed on to the buyer.

So from a dealer perspective, selling at 2% below invoice without an affiliate program is similar to selling at nearly 4% below invoice with the progarm if the entire 2% is passed on to the buyer. There is a bit more to it, but that is the basics of how it works.
The issue I ran into was most dealers near me wouldn't budge at all on price and a few even refused the affiliate pricing.

I'd say anything over $200 is excessive.

i've also dealt with this around my neck of the woods in SoFla. one even told me the other day he would give me 1% off which equals $100 bucks... i was like ahhhh i dont think so. i'll be ordering with Fields in sanford fla. i was quoted an excellent price and don't mind traveling outside of my area.

also don't be affraid to travel outside of your town. some dealers in smaller areas ARE willing to deal and negoiate.

I drove over two hours to get mine!

Saved me thousands in dealer markup and BS fees.

I have an 800+ credit score, dealer could not beat USAA, PenFed or my regular credit union.

You have to have crappy credit to want to go through dealer financing and sit through the crap with the F&I turd.
