death wobble and steer stablizer question

Tie rod bent/Steering stablizer was smashed against the rocks and prevented me from making a right turn. Unbolted while off the trails and made it back to camp without further problems

on my way home on highway, while from 50 to 40mph, steering started to "violently shake" = DW. I cut off the factory plastic boot on the SS, reinstalled and everything was fine

Question = was DW from no steering stablizer? or from bent tie rod and SS just masked it

If everything is right you don't even need a SS. So yes it just masked your problem.
