Decided to keep my 09 Rubi instead of trading in

I decided to keep my stock rubi and instead of upgrading to the 2012 i spent the money on mods. Put a 4" lift and some 35's. Some before and after photos.

Excellent choice and your Jeep looks so much better.

I also want to get a 2012 but i got so much time and money invested on my JK that i would keep it till it literally falls apart.

I agree, good choice. I have no interest in the 2012. I'd prefer to keep mine and do some mods. Love the rims. Good choice on the color.

Same here. I have invested $8000 in my Jeep this year alone and I am having some more work done tomorrow. Not that my 2 dr ever had the sluggish feeling of the 4 dr autos especially after regearing to 4.88, there is just no need for me to get the 12 model at this point. Besides I am very happy with what I have.

yeah if I already had a wrangler, I would just mod it like crazy instead of buying a new one. Heck I even sometimes questions if I should have bothered to get my 2011 new. It's all going to be the same especially if its a JK, might as well get the real upgrades like tires and a badass lift and save the cost of getting a "new" one

I have fuel hostage rims and the falken wild peak A/T tires. I got these rims cause they not as common as alot of the XD rims. Also these tires ride so much better than the stock BFG Mud Terrains. With an intake and chip i have no problem now on the highway the 4.10's see pretty good with the 35's.
