I have decided on a lift kit (Tera Flex 2.5") with 1.5" wheel spacers for my Unlimited Saharah. Now I need to choose a set of tires or keep my original set (Bridgestone Duelers 255/70R18). My two leaders in the Club House are Mickey Thompson Baja ATZP3's (LT275/70R18) or the Toyo Open Country RT's 33x12.5. I like my original tires ok, but think a wider more aggressive tire will make the lift kit a more successful look. Also, my off roading is minimal and mainly done on the beaches here in Delaware. Any thoughts or suggestions?
I think the Mickey Thompson ATZ look much better than the Toyo's. Have you considered Duratracs in the 275/70R18 size? They look aggressive, perform extremely well on the pavement in all weather conditions, wear reasonably well and will cost you a bit less than the ATZs.

I've had my DTs now for three years, and I'm still not close to having to replace them. They're lightweight, great in snow, fairly quiet, and cheaper than many tires.
From what I understand, the MTs will wear pretty fast.
I gotta say I love my General Grabber AT2s. I went with 275/70/18 and I'm running the exact setup you're looking to do. I think I got them from DTD for $990 shipped. That was in February though.
Just ordered the Duratrac 295/65R18's with a 2.5" Tera Flex Lift Kit and 1.5" wheel spacers. Hopefully by the end of next week I'll have some pictures.
The ATZ P3 are a better choice unless you are stuck on the looks or the portly Toyos, specially since you don't plan on heavy off roading. The ATZs are outstanding on sand.
Update on the tire choice. My good deal turned sour after I found out the tires were on back order until late May. Seems kind of odd for a tire you can order on other web sites with 2 day delivery. The web site never prompted me nor did I get any info from the company thru email. After four days I called Customer Service and found out, so I just canceled my order. After spending more time shopping I decided to switch back to the MT Baja ATZ P3 tire. Found them on Amazon for a fraction more than I paid for the Duratrac. I like both tires and would be happy either way, however the MT was my 1st choice all along. Tires will deliver to my local off road shop Friday and hopefully go on the first of next week. Pictures to follow.
I'm a happy man today. Here is the finished product. Mickey Thompson Baja ATV P3 tires with a 2.5" Teraflex Lift Kit and 1.5" wheel spacers. Just what I wanted and more.
