Deterioration of gaskets on freedom top.

Hi there. Was taking my hard top off and some of the gasket stuck to the jeep body and tore off. I looked at the rest of the gasket and freedom panels and found the stuff below. Anyone else have this?

I had a piece if the gasket stick to my porch carpet. It's was hot when I removed them and it stuck to the carpet. Still me hard top never leaked.
