Did a 2" leveling kit, do I need to adjust headlights?

I just did a 2" leveling kit on my 2011 unlimited. I have gotten cars flashing their high beams at me twice in two days.
Do I need to adjust my lights after such a minor lift? If so, how?

Yup. You can adjust em with a Torx 15 (not the kind with changeable bits...A skinny, single piece one). The adjusting screws are at 10 o'clock (passenger) and 2 0'clock (driver) in the gap between your headlight and grille. You can only adjust up and down.

You'll need some painter's tape (or masking, electrical...) a tape measure and the Torx 15 driver. And a flat space where you can park 25 feet from a wall, garage door, even the back of your garage, if need be...

Here's a quick and easy how-to:

Definitely. I couldn't believe the difference with my 2.5 lift. I just had the dealer do it for 20 bucks when I brought it in for a free oil change.

Cool! Thinking about doing just that with mine, how hard/easy was it? I know my way around tools but I am no mechanic.

Did you read my post?

My dog could do it, if he had thumbs and could drive a stick.

Took me about 5 minutes after I installed my lift.

Funny thing is, I've got a PS3 and numerous games...I even have Fallout3. Although the only time I've ever played that one is when one of my many nieces or nephews is visiting.

I'm more into the Moto GP and Gran Turismo, probably 'cause anybody can kill, but not everybody can race.

Whatever.

For some reason, Dagwood stuck.

As long as people are gaming, it's good. Just like Jeeps, as long as they drive one, it's all happy.

Maybe your stock headlights aren't aimed right.

Granted, there are dumb people out there (thank god), but when you say "Hell, I get people flashing me all the time and I'm still runnin stock!" then logic would dictate that the problem lies with you.

Of course, you ARE in a Jeep whose headlights are around roof-rail height on most cars.

Then again, I can count the number of times I've been flashed by oncoming traffic on one hand. Excluding the thumb.

I'm not overly concerned either way. When I get my new springs and shocks in I'll have to adjust them anyways....it can wait.

Not overly concerned?

If your headlights stuck me in the eyes, and I was in a bad mood, you might end up with my Rampage bumper in your lap.

considering I can see exactly where my headlights hit the pavement in front of my Jeep, which is mere inches in front of where the fog lights illuminate, I seriously doubt that they are aimed incorrectly. If someone wants to hit me for it, that's fine. I'll upgrade to a JKU Rubi after I sell what's left of their possessions.

Pissed? Nevertheless, keep coming back to this. ^^^^

That's a "confused" face at the end of your post, btw.

I am often confused by other people's lunacy, but no, I'm not "pissed."
