I thought the key differences were the Dana44 front and rear axles, 4.1 gear ration, locking diffs, sway bar disconnect.

They owe you the rails. No difference than if you bought a hard top and they kept your soft top. Or bought half doors and they kept your full ones.

I think some people put more thought into ordering starbucks orders then purchasing a vehicle. To some its just a "car" to others, like myself, its so much more. Ease up on the guy, sure it is his fault for not doing the research, but maybe hes just not as broke as I am. Pretty sure it list the rails on the website though, just sayin.

Look at your Jeep. Are they there? If not, you can be sure that either the guys that did the install or some clever thieves removed them. We're not talking about a small bolt or piece of computer code...these things are several feet long and in plain sight on the side of your Jeep if they're there at all.

For what it's worth, at this point you might as well get the ACE Eng rails...they can act as a step too, if you really want a step.

I suppose folks do have a point - not everyone obsesses over their vehicle purchases. At the same time, how hard is it to open up the comparison chart on the Jeep website and go line by line to check key difference and determine which model meets you needs? That doesn't require a ton of research effort...sort of a minimum due diligence.

That's why I said "one" of the differences, and it's one of the immediately availiable visual identifiers. The Sport package may use the Moabs, but not the mud terrains and neither the Sahara or the Sport have rock rails. That's strictly a Rubicon option. I don't even think they put the on any non Rubicon special edition.

Update: Picked up my rails today. Thanks to my dealership...however they made it right. I still think they should have told me though.
