did my mesh grill mod today...

thanks to gary1129 for the write up. just finished mine with my helper.

a few pics for some enjoyment...

getting started...


my girlfriends dog helping out some...

coming along...my advice...get bandaids!


break time...


nearing completion...



the finished product! i went with black since my jeep is all black on yellow.
and my brew is my reward to myself for first self mod!

The black looks much better than the bling. Why do you cut it into pieces, couldn't it be done in one piece?

its mesh for gutters. just bought 4 pieces at $1.50 each...i think they were 6 inches by 36 inches. just cut them in half and trim with some tin snips to get to the right size.

thought about going with some hardware cloth but i wanted the diamond look and the hardware cloth is 1/4 inch squares.

Turned out real nice man........I took mine out to paint it black as well.....I wanted ta like the silver but alas I couldnt......now I just gotta put it all back together

I can't believe I got volunteered for something else. It will be a while due to us moving out of the city and back to the country, but when we get settled I will sit down and figure out a way to do it.
