Did you know the JK has....

Thanks to unionjewel for the suggestion in another post.

I will go 1st.

I didn't know the sunvisors extended, the tailgate had a built in door stop and you could reprogram the alarm system through the user interface to NOT turn on the headlights everytime you unlock the door with the fob.

Are there any other word of mouth or "duh, when you find them" features?

The salesperson i bought my jeep from was such a jackass, he never showed me a thing during delivery inspection, he just gave me the keys, and walked away. Looking back at it, it was kinda like christmas presents everyday for the first few weeks, i would find something new every time i sat down in it.

Really?

Can you tell me the page number that explains how to lock the tailgate open?

How about the the page number discussing that the sun visor extends?

I am curious if you just jump into every thread without research?

Why should I do your research?

Was there anything that you didn't know you had on it and found out by someone telling you or found on your own?

Carry on with your cute little thread. I hope you find the little jeep on the windshield or the little cubby to hold your door nuts.

I also did not know those little tabs on the freedom top were for using the front without the back, why would you do that?

The wheel dance.

And the slow drop of the RPMs in the 3.8 are caused by the throttle not closing fully when you let off the accelerator.

If it's a cold night, you can put the doors and the roof panels on and you will get almost no wind in the cabin even with the roof off.

Also if it's an especially hot day, you can use the panels to block the sun from roasting you.

Normally the roof panels would sit on the roof when attaching them, but without the roof you need the tabs to "lift" the rear of the roof up so the hand screws can tighten.

OK, I didn't see anything in the manual about my Jeep holding my nuts, thought that was Wells Fargo.

The tailgate stop & sunvisor extension features were not in any of the manuals.

The method to turn off the headlights when unlocking the door with the fob may be there but I figured it out because it was a similar feature on a 99 300M I owned. It was described in the owner's manual provided with that vehicle.

Lots of people. It's a hard version of a bikini top. That is in the manual, BTW.

I am not allowed to pull the top until my daughter turns two, so I avoided that part as not to taunt myself

A lot of stuff is in the manual. If you would read it instead of just throwing it somewhere or using it to make a fire. SO READ IT!!!

But, there are times where it doesn't tell you things. So that's when you will have to ask & hope you don't get a smartass answer. Or you can just play around with your jeep & find out. But, it's safer to make sure it can then break it.
