Klaben jeep in ohio for me....Tank was about a quarter for test drive, while signing papers they were nice and washed it up and filled the tank and replaced a bad left turn signal bulb.

Recently bought two Jeeps from my local dealer so I guess he figured he had better fill up both tanks which he did. That should be a no brainer for these dealers...if they want that customer back you need to do things like full tanks and good customer service.

When I got my 2010, they had to trade it with a dealer from NY. They gave me a full tank.

Every vehicle we've gotten they've filled out tank. My Wrangler was used and I got a full tank of gas.

We even just bought a used Dodge Ram 2500 Mega Cab Diesel and got that tank filled too. Over $150 since the tank was almost empty.

Bought an 11 new in June, and they filled it up before I took it home. Washed it too, and then the salesman and I had a good laugh at that moment being the cleanest that Jeep was ever going to be. So far, all four cars I've bought have come with full tanks.

Somerset Jeep, Somerset MASS.

Full tank, washed, cleaned, Inspection sticker AND a nice spare tire cover!
Great service. Friendly, and very efficient. Maybe the best dealership I have ever delt with in 28 new vehicle purchases.

Gave 'em a Hynudai running on fumes and got a brand new fully filled and washed 2012 JKU Rubi!

I thought it was cool, but I don't think I'd waste a moment caring if it needed gas.
I'm going to be filling it quite a bit in the coming years, one tank at the start means nothing.
I was thrilled to be in MY new Jeep. That's all I cared about at the time.

When I went in to pick up my jeep as soon as the dealer seen me he asked me for my plate so that he could put it on and go fill up the tank. And while I was waiting he told me and my wife to go pick out a couple of jeep ball caps, i know its not much but it made me smile.

The '08 from a small dealer was full. But the '12 wasn't. It was from a different dealer (biggest in Denver). I mentioned it to the sales rep and he jokingly said that they won't sell gas if the Conoco across the street won't sell Jeeps.

Of course, in 2008 gas was cheaper than today.

I expected a full tank like every other car I've ever bought so, yes, I was disappointed. It is a nice courtesy to have a full tank when you drive it off the lot. Afterall....you did just give them upwards of $30,000. I got a quarter tank.

Same here. They loaned me a new Jeep with a full tank of gas for 4 days while they went to pick mine up. Then mine was filled up before I picked it up. I returned the loaner with about a quarter of a tank.

Certainly did

The Faricy Boys in Colorado Springs, sold me a 2012 Rubicon, gave me a sale price of 2% below factory invoice, filled the tank, and did all that I would expect, and did it all with a smile.

I'll most likely be going back there to buy another 2012 Rubicon for my son.

Respects,

Richard

Hehe, this made me think ... If you don't get a full tank, take your new Jeep in for warranty service... Gas light is on, something must be wrong!

A few hours before I signed on my Jeep, I drove it 3 miles to my home to show my wife. The sales guy gave me a $20 gas card. When I picked it up 2 days later, the needle was in the same spot.

Had a quarter tank when I picked mine up and was a little shocked I had to go fill it up right away... However I did get it for $1000 below invoice, so I wasn't too upset about $45 into the tank.
