I have always used the iron covers, plenty hard and the added weight is nice and low in relation to the center of gravity. Aluminum would be likely more expensive but would work fine.

Aluminum are more prone to leaking over time. Good choice with old school stuff, tried and true.

I've been bouncing back and forth on this. 4WP was trying to tell me the iron shortens the life of the diff. I cant believe that because I've yet to see anyone post any stories of this happening.
So I'm trying to decide between the Riddler covers or just getting some armor for the stock covers.
