difference between these 2 lifts?

Ok...anyone see the benifiet or difference between these 2 lifts?...the rough country 2.5 inch lift for 139 bucks (Jeep JK Suspension Lift ) or the teraflex basic 2.5 budget boost for 265.99 ( JK Budget Boost | TeraFlex Suspensions ). I plan on buying my own shocks was thinking of the procomp rs9000's. I know the rc comes with adapters but i dont think ill need them if i buy my own shocks. The extent of my offroading in my jeep is goin to a local hunting managment area which is mosty a few potholes.....the lift would mostly be to add a lil more height for visual appeal.....any suggestions?..thoughts?...thx jason

Go with the RC, comes with the shock adapters in case you decide to hold off on shocks, plus its cheaper.

Looks to me like in addition to everything included with Rough Country lift, the TeraFlex kit also comes with a track bar relocation bracket, bump stops, and extended sway links. All of those will be good to have.

Further, if you get new shocks, you won't need the shock extension brackets. The TeraFlex kit offers an option to get the kit without brackets or shocks, so it'd be a perfect fit for you. You will need to account for the shocks somehow--whether through longer shocks or extension brackets.

Finally, do your research online, but you should make purchases like this through forum vendors. Sending them a PM will usually get you the best prices, free delivery, etc. I know JeepAddOns sells Rough Country products. I've heard Northridge4x4 is great for TeraFlex stuff. Etc. There are many others.

Ya thats what i was thinking....plus i believe the rc is solid steel if memory serves. I dont think i can go past a 2.5 inch lift and possibly put 35's on it later and still get it in the garage lol. I know its a wrangler and made to get dirty but itll look and last alot longer not roting in the florida sun daily. Was lookin for other opinions to make sure before i hit the buy button.
