Differential lockers what did you guys go with?

So I was flipping through a quadratec catalog and I stumbled upon ox on demand lockers and Arb air lockers I do like how I can choose to lock or do standard for on and off road drivability I would like to know some of your opinions

I've read really great things about the arb lockers. I have an arb on board compressor for airing up tires and the quality is great. I'd buy the arb if I didn't have a rubicon.

I put in a rear ARB locker and absolutely love it. So far it has performed flawlessly offroad. You'll need an onboard compressor and switches to operate it.
I ordered mine last year for a company online for $695 which is stupid cheap. Evidently they were switching over to Yukon lockers and must have been closing out the ARB's or something.
Ran about $600 for the install.
I want to have another put in my front D30 but can't find anything under $996.
Im thinking of just doing a Detroit Truetrac LSD in the front and putting the $600 dollars I'd save toward my gear change and have the Truetrac tossed in at the same time.
You'd be amazed what stuff you can get over with just a rear selectable locker.
ARB and OX are very tough lockers, can't go wrong with either. I didn't care for the cable on the OX to accuate the locker.

I am looking into Aussie One because of the price, Two the install cost is zero because I can do it. Three it has good reviews.

ARB IMO is top of the line. It is worth every penny, I am not sure about the install if you have to mess with gear mesh or not that is where labor gets $$$$$

I went with Aussie up front and was going to do Yukon Zip locker out back prior to selling my JK. Yukon Zip is identical to the ARB and is less expensive and has a better warranty, so ARB who??

For the best DD, a selectable is the way to go. ARB and Zip Locker require on board air so that is an added cost. OX's are strong but require the use of their diff covers and their actuating systems aren't the greatest. They have 3 options.

As for electronic selectables, the only one worth a damn is the Eaton E-Locker for the D30 (D44 Eaton sucks).

I looked at zip locker, but you can't run them in the stock gear ratios. I can't remember exactly, but i think the min was 4:10 and numerically higher to use the Yukon's.

I'd be kind of leary of an Aussie auto locker on a daily driver especially in the front diff. Plus they're not recommended in snow regions.

Can't beat the ARB. Plus the onboard air compressor can be set up to be used to air up your tires after wheelin.

I'm running the Yukon Grizz in the front and back and I've gotta say it's really got not bad streetability despite not being selectable. I don't daily drive it but I'll take the kids to school take it to church, shopping whatever and it's never been an issue being locked.

Trutracs front and rear for me.

Had a Spartan in the rear for a while, wore it out in about 30k miles

I've had the Powertrax No-slip in my d30 front axle for about a month now. It's virtually impossible to tell it's there unless you are in a parking lot making very tight turns. If it's your DD and you're not super hardcore I would recommend the Trutrac. When welling an LSD if you do get in that spot where the one wheel with power is slipping you can just apply a little brake to get it to 'lock up'.

This is one of those things that you see on the net all the time but personally this has not always been the case when wheeling a LSD equipped rig. Has it worked for me, yes just not every time.


Right now if you order an ARB from any major supplier you get a free compressor. How do I know this for sure? Because I got one when my 35 spline ARB came in last week.
