SpiderWeb is a vendor on the forum and I think you might get a discount if you mention the forum. I love mine, sorry I don't remember about the discount thing, but it's been a year since I got it. You can make one out of fiberglass mesh too, if you know someone who sews. I made one to cover the entire back and windows for my kids, mostly just to see if I could, but also to see if it helped with the wind. It does help keep the mud off of them.... They kinda like that!
I have both the Dirty Dog and the Spiderweb. I have the Two-Piece set from Dirty Dog, and the One-Piece Full from Spiderweb. I like them both.
I have been running the Dirty Dog Front-Piece only, for the last two months. However, the back of the net velcros to the top of the Sound Bar, and the glue was coming off of the Sound Bar, holding down the netting (Texas Heat is the culprit, with Temps already reaching Three-Digits!). It began flapping in the wind, so I removed it, until I can get some Industrial Strength Velcro from Walley World. In the interim, I replaced the Dirty Dog with the Spiderweb, until I get some new velcro.
Yes, you can keep the Dirty Dog on under the Freedom Panels, without removing it. The only thing you'll have to unhook, are the two velcro straps that hook to the two Latch Footman Loops up front, so you can lock the Freedom Panels.
Both the Dirty Dog and the Spiderweb keep the Sun out of your eyes, and off of your head when driving topless.
I don't have a pic of mine handy, but here's one from Dirty Dogs website:
If I recall correctly, Dirty Dog sells a Front-Piece-Only, covering the Front Seats, and Spiderweb sells a Three-Piece Set, which includes the Bikini Front with the Set. Both are fine products, and IMHO, are equal in quality.
Thanks Blackbeard! This is what Im looking for, a mesh top to keep on under my roof panels.
So both will work? Work as in stay in place with the 2 front panels in place?
Hummm... I guess next question is which one fits better, looks better, works better.
I really only want the front cover, dont need the back. As I have a hard top.
Which Im off to that thread now,,, Cant seem to get my 2 panels lined up correct for reinstall? I know its driver off first,, driver side on last.
Guess I dont remember how the two front header hooks clamped in. Were they all the way snugged in,, or just barley bitting in? I havnt clammped them down yet, just seeing about lining up first. Maybe I need the back speaker bar bolts installed also,,, to snugg up the front and side?
Or I guess when all fails,,,,,,,,,break out those damn instructions!!!!!!! Grrrrr.
I will pick up one of the other this week,,, Just need a good place to purchase.
I know this is a really late response but if you get the one piece mesh top that covers the front and rear you can just hold it in the half if you don't want the rear to have cover. thats what i do with mine. I don't always like having the rear with cover but when i need it i simply unfold the mesh.
