DLAA Fog Light Bulbs - Junk(?)

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what bulbs I should use to replace my fog light bulbs with?

Here is the situation...I have the XRC MOD bumper by Smittybilt...and as much as I like it - yes, it is giving me minor annoyances...but I still think it's worth the money...with that said:

The full width end-caps have holders for fog lights. The fog lights they give you are chinese (I know, I know) DLAA lamps. 2 weeks after installation, one of the filaments in a bulb fell apart & stopped working (pic #1). I contacted Smittybilt - they sent another bulb. And, less then a week later, the SAME thing happened on the replacement bulb (pic #2)

I hadn't even done any offroading or harsh driving yet! Has anything like this happened to others? I want to make sure I have bulbs that will work for regular driving AND offroading. I doubt their bulbs are gonna cut the mustard - no matter how many they send me. Do I need LED bulbs? My headlight bulbs don't fall apart - so why are these (other then junk obviously)? I want a bulb that will take some abuse.

I wired these bulbs into the existing harness - and would like to continue to use that wiring. Not looking for top of the line or super bright or crazy colors. Just a couple of working fog lights I can depend on to splice into the wiring and fit inside the light assembly (pic #3 is what the bulb looks like; ideally, I want something with a similar form so I can just pop it into the existing housing).

I see this post is from August. Did you solve your problem? I want to get the bumper you have, but I've been wondering about the fog/driving lights. I want amber LEDs but I can't find any info on the lights in this bumper.
What did you do?
