Glacier Park tour buses. Built in the 1930s, still going strong today!

Me and the wife had second thoughts on the RL colour when we were first looking at it, but now I love it!

Now lifted with rims!

Absolutely not!!!

Limited edition color; gets mad stares; and the more black you put on her, the better she looks.

I love Rubi Lobstah and everyone who sees her falls in love with her too! She's just damn good looking.

2013 RL and lovin it

I was chomping at the bit when I saw how bright this color is. Ordered mine from the factory and had my tires and lift picked out and ready to install. My stock tires have 7 miles on them. Love the color still and need $8000 more to really get it fixed up. Anyone got an extra 8 grand laying around?

It was the color I had picked when looking at the Jeep site. Went to the dealer and after my wife looked at it, she said NO WAY!

Ended up with the Billet Silver.

I saw a rock lobster sahara with painted top and fenders today and it was pretty terrible. It's not my favorite color (I like the darker red better) but it looks much better with the black accents. I have painted hardtop and fenders but I also have a black Jeep…For the most part I think Jeeps look better with black fenders at least and usually black hard top too.

+1 I agree, I've seen one other rock lobster Sahara with painted top and fenders and it's too much. It is all about tastes, however, and if someone likes solid bright red, go for it. Personally, I don't care for any Wrangler that is solid one color. I think the design just lends itself to accents, period. Again, that's my taste and others are certainly free to disagree.

I bought one when it was covered in pollen. I thought it looked great. I get lots of compliments and are looking forward to many mods and upgrades. This is what it looks like so far.

Wife picked the RL instead of my choices..we already had a black jeep so...she loved the color and liked the whole package painted of the Sahara...to each her/his own....I still drive the heck out of it though and now it will always be a limited color choice in the future..bottom line wife is happy so

Sure. I just remembered where I saw Rock Lobster the first time. Looked pretty good at first, then, not so much.

She is a big SF Giants fan, and the car sort of looks orange and black, so it makes a statement for her. Our 20 something kids also approve. I do like the fact that Jeeps come in a wide range of colors. I smile when I see the Gecko, Crush, Dozer, or other bright color. White, silver, black? Safe, hansome, but boring. Would I order it again if it were available? Probably yes. Its grown on me. The pros outweigh the cons. Deven

Like others have said. Color is a personal thing. I love a lot of Jeep colors but I'm personally not a big fan of the "Hey look at me colors!" I like the more subdued hues like commando green, anvil, and if course the classic black.

I tried talking the wife into a R.L.(for her) No luck. I have a '13 Billet silver JKs, and sometimes I wish I would have gone with the Gecko. But they only had the Gecko in an automatic and the Billet with a 6 sp. Wanted the soft top on the Gecko but got the hard top with the Billet. Geeze I should have just ordered one, if I had that kind of patience. I guess it's just take your time and get the color you really want. Don't settle.

We went to Home Depot today. Going in, we saw what we thought was two flame red JKU's. When we came out, the sun was out and we could tell one was actually a rock lobster sport. Did it ever look sharp with the black trim. The more I see them, the more I like them. Like the gecko, it's one of those colours that really grew on me.

The thing about red lobster is its basically red. You have colors that are like gecko, orange but red lobster looks red and its hot. classy and the best color hands down, red is passionate.

Just picked mine up on Saturday. Once I saw this color, I HAD to have it! I was going to buy used just so I could get it, but Jeep tracked one down for me on a lot only 3 1/2 hours from me. It's gorgeous and unique. It's a bright, orangey red and there's no hint of pink in it whatsoever. I've looked at it in every kind of light possible and I just don't see the pink. I've also noticed that it looks like the red in most neon signs. I can't figure out how some are getting the pink. I guess our brains process color differently?? Anyway, if some think it looks pink, so be it. I am a woman and pink doesn't bother me in the least. I do live in a very testosterone laden home (three sons, two of which are teenagers and a husband...three male pets as well. lol) and they all LOVE it too. I assure you that none of them would be caught dead driving around in a pink "Barbie" Jeep.

It's one of the few colors I've actually heard salesmen at a large dealership standing around making fun of. But I don't own one so I don't care either way.
