Do You Wheel with DD?

Just wondering how many of you have your jeep as your only vehicle (dd) AND use it for wheelin'?

Uh yep..... can't stand to drive the Tahoe since I got the JK... and I blew the spider gears out of it anyway, and no ambition to fix it.

This was yesterday...

My DD is my 12 sport with the 2.5" TF lift an 33s. Would have gone bigger if It wasn't for the 70 mile round trip to work

Count me in that group. DD and just getting into the trails out here. I was out this weekend with a club and talking to a 4dr Rubicon owner on 37s. His is a 2012 and he has 45k miles on it already. He's definitely driving that puppy.

DD with the TF "2.5" lift and 35's, wheel her every time I've got a shot. You better believe I love every second of it too.

I know that feeling. Mine is a '12 with almost 30k miles. I have been all over the SW with it! Too much fun and too much money to have it sit in the garage and be taken out 'when I can'...

I do rarely. No friends with jeeps or other 4x4 that want to take the risk of hurting it. Also closes parks are over an hour away.

Went this weekend and had a great time. shot of my jeep while we had lunch.

Did put a nice scratch down my passenger side.

Two days of cleaning and still a mess. esp on the inside. worth every scratch.

Absolutely! My jeep is multipurpose. DD, off roading, tow rig, and ski rig. I do about 20k on mine a year. Jeeps are tough. They can handle more than you think

I do all the time. My friends think I'm nuts, but I love it. This was Saturday at an off road park.

Bought mine bone stock, wheeled it before my first oil change, found some limitations (high centering) did 100% of the mods myself (except mounting and balancing the tires) over time and wheel at least monthly.

Lets see.. Bought my new Jeep last Fri night (kept the sales guy there till 10:30 and drove it home).

Took it out for a Drive Sat morning around town (first time in 4wd was going through a little sand on a dirt road near the house).

Sat night went up to show it off to my parents who live up a mtn road I wouldn't want to drive a car on (first time in 4wd for an extended period).

Sun Morning, Sevenmile creek trail in the mountains (first time in 4lo, lockers, sway bar disengaged).

Now planning a weekend trip to Ouray Colorado, and my vacation to Moab.

And yes its my daily driver

Count me in to this club! Being that this is my first vehicle, I drive it every day, and I wouldn't want it any other way.

I would not be afraid to do this at all. I just would have to tone things down a bit.

It's not the off roading that scares me, it's being in the middle of a mechanical install and something going wrong. Now THAT would suck.

I have a '13 Rubicon that will likely not get 2k miles on it this year. I DD a new Silvverado crew cab and it is a lot more comfortable to drive. The nearest Offroading is 850 miles so I trailer it there 3-5 times each year.
