Does a winch on stock bumper affect suspension or ride?

I picked up a Smittybilt xrc8 8000lb winch, and am using the Rough Country winch plate, on a stock bumper (which is getting cut down with the VDP end caps).

Is this going to affect the suspension or ride enough to cause concern, to do something like adding the TeraFlex leveling kit?

Not ready to lift yet, this is a 2012 Rubicon JK Unlimited. It's Dozer by the way, so that will make it even beefier. Everyone knows that Black goes faster but that Dozer is tougher.

Thanks for the help!

Very little but it might.

Got to find out the spring rate on your front coils. 18/19 ok. 15/16 not so much

2007 Rubicon/Rock Krawler triple rate 2.5" coils/RK rear TB w/ a teraflex raised bracket/Rancho 9000 31/32XL shocks/Synergy flipped draglink,ball joints,tie rod /Hankook MT 315-75-16 on Level 8 ZX's/Rancho geo brackets/Ruff stuff uppers/Fox ATS stabilizer/Adams front DS/Artec front armor w/ Currie upper bushings/Rancho cat back exhaust.

It will depend on your spring rate as to how much your front end will sag under the additional weight. Take a look at the tag on your front springs and let us know what the last 2 numbers are.

Dozer looks like a school bus, which is not tough.

I didn't notice any real difference. My springs are the softest Mopar has to offer. 13/14 fronts.

How bout a CAT D10 dozer? Same color and YES, it invented the word tough.

On topic tho, if you have any sagging just up the springs on the front with a higher numbered spring from mopar.
