Just asking...........................Why?

Depends on how you define stock. :)

I'm sure almost everyone changes SOMETHING, even if just door sill guards. What level of change fits your definition of no longer stock? Lift/tires/winch or attennas/radios/seat covers?

I think a lot of people (actually most people) leave them stock...but that particular crowd does not spend a lot of time on off-road biased forums. Then again, what is stock?

Mine is basically stock (stock rims, tires, suspension, axles, gears, bumpers, ect....) All of my "mods" are for comfort and security, and more less "accessories" than modifications.

A stock JKU is quite capable as is.

Same here, backup camera, Grabars, grill insert ect.

I see tons of 4 doors bone stock around me as many of them are driven by young couples with small kids and modding doesn't seem to be a top priority on their list, but even stock the Wrangler is a very capable rig.

Back when my kids were small you could only do the mini van thing as the JK's were not around yet so no 4 door option, but I was waiting for the kids to leave the nest anyway as i always wanted a 2 door. :)

I think a lot of owners leave their JKU's stock. I'll bet a lot don't ever even remove the top. They just like them for the looks and capabilities in bad weather.

Lots leave them stock so they don't have to wave. :whistling:

To be honest, I purchased my JK due to the new addition in my family. I had no intentions of modding it since my last jk was a money pit. I just needed the extra cargo space. Fast forward 1 year from the date of purchase (07/2014)... I spent xxx on mods equivalent to 1/3 price of my JK.

Our 2013 was stock for a few weeks, and then we threw out the children and began a build. After the build we decided to get another one and it stayed stock for a few hours. Then the grand children decided it was such fun off roading that they joined us and now we are whole again and very very happy with Two modified Jeeps and grand children that know and understand the pecking order. Its all about priorities. :D

I have a JK Sahara, with the exception of a couple of spiderwebshades, it is and will remain stock. I've been there, done that, but just happen to love Jeeps. My better half and I enjoy riding the mountain roads of East Tennessee/Western North Carolina on motorcycles. Age and bad legs made that not so much fun, it was either a trike or JK, we elected the JK and are happy we did. Another poster said unmoded Jeeps are done so as not being expected to wave. Got news, I've been doing the wave for a long long time even today in the stock Sahara. These things are made for everyone who enjoys an exceptional vehicle. Ride on and enjoy whatever you decide to do with 'your' Jeep.

I see a lot of stock ones running around. From the outside, but, hard to say if there was any internal details added.

But, honestly, hard to say how stock. We all add our own little flavor to all of our vehicles.

Many, not to the extreme that Jeep has mods, but, think of the Jeep as a refined canvas to detail how you see fit!

I consider ours to be "stock", but, I have added

-Rubicon shocks
-Sahara bumper silver appliqués
-Hard top and wiring kit
-OEM steps

AND, have on order

-Pioneer 5700BHS /wiring adapter
-Back up camera
-Custom decals from pixie, swapping oem "wrangler unlimited" for "willys unlimited" (old willys font) and adding "Overland" (rubicon outlined font) to the hood.

Jeep will never see a lift kit or large mud tires or a winch bumper, so it will remain "stock"... or so I have told my wife...

Mine is still stock if you don't consider accessories I've added (& I don't). The reason - no one questions a stock Jeep on easy trails. It's expected. Driving on rocks here in CO is different than anywhere else I've wheeled and it keeps me out of trouble. It's painful to watch a built up jeep with 35s and 4in lift on level 3 or 4 trail...why are you here? Oh...because you don't know how to drive with all those goodies. I do not want to be that person so I'll take my time, add what I need when I need it.

The main reason I bought a Willy's was because it has what I want from the factory. I admit I did add Sahara wheels and tires but only because the original KM Mud tires were horrible on the street. I will probably not ever remove the whole hard top but only because I have a 350Z convertible. Much as I like my Jeep my 350z or any 2 seat convertible is leagues ahead for on-road top down fun.

I bought a 15 hr rubi. It came with a bunch a great mods already that my 13 sport didn't have, but I have a bunch that I haven't had time to put together, like soft top, and seat mod kit. I would like to do something with radio and remove rock rails and put something with more of a step. Maybe a winch, just because I can I guess, lol

I hate mini vans it was in the prenup , lol

I would have left it stock but the belly clearance is not very good off road so the insanity began. I have it pretty well set up so besides small stuff (and that big brake kit) I need to stop spending money on the Jeep.
