Does the Mopar BBK actually exist??

I ordered one of these kits at the beginning of December and have been told for the 3rd time that the backorder date is pushed back. I've looked everywhere for another source with the same results. aren't these just Ram brakes?!?!?! UGH. not a big deal, but seems like a long backorder.

You already have Mopar BBK on your signature as part if your mods, so it MUST exist...

Shhh....don't tell him. His girlfriend spent all night modding his Jeep as a surprise. She even updated his signature.

PS: don't tell his wife either.

You could piece if together from the part numbers. I don't have a link to the thread, but they are all in there. Yeah, last gen RAM rotors, calipers, pads, and the relocation brackets. I'd argue that some better steel lines would be better than what comes in the kit. I'm assuming you can also get the master cyl as well. It seems some people have added that to their Teraflex brake installs.

You can usually find it on Amazon and eBay. I went with the Teraflex kit over the Mopar and I love it.

At least with the TF master cylinder you don't need it on 12' and newer. Not sure about Mopar as they don't have a manual transmission friendly version.

Best of luck with kit. I've had my TF on for 2 weeks and stopping is greatly improved.

When I placed my order with ALLMOPARPARTS back in December they told me that I would need to be patient with this kit. Think it was like check in a month for status. Which was fine with me since I was not going to install until spring. Come march I will prolly be getting anxious if it is still back ordered.

Dynatrac big brake kit, problem solved. Also get the Mopar over-sized master cylinder and brake booster to help achieve a firmer pedal.
This is the same part that's used in the Mopar BBK.
Jeep Wrangler Master Cylinder and Brake Booster, MoparOnlineParts.com

I added this MC and booster to my Wilwood 14" rotors with 4 piston calipers and it's awesome. My buddy who drove my Jeep last weekend loved the brakes compared to his factory brakes.
