Does this engine look modified at all??

Hey,

My brother is looking to purchase a jeep as well. He sent me these pics. It definitely has a lift and some nice tires.

But, does the engine look modified at all? I haven't seen it in person, and not that familiar with what a jeep looks like stock under the hood.

What do you guy think? 2007, with 26k miles, power locks/windows and the price is around $19k.

THanks,

Is that how the 2010's are set up also? Brakes on the right and battery/electrical on the left? (viewed from this vantage, facing the engine) ??

Looks all stock, and as clean as it is, there's a good chance it was mall crawled and has easy mileage on it

Could be a REALLY good detail team though...

I'll be...

I never considered the engine would be backwards, but I guess with the real estate the column and brakes take up it makes sense...

My battery, electrical, and alternator (!) are on the right, and the brakes and balancer are on the left... opposite everyone else. Everything foward (air cleaner, washer fluid, hoses) is the same though

just learned my "something new" for today.

hey, jeep engineers need something to justify their jobs in the middle of a model run.
