Does this have AC?

I'm in the market to buy a 2012 wrangler but I'd prefer it to have AC. I'm a little new to Wranglers, but I've had a Grand Cherokee for a while now.. just need a little help figuring this out. Like the guy I called at the dealership thinks it does but he wasn't sure so I don't really want to waste my time driving 40 mins out of my way to find out if it doesn't..

Is there a way to tell from the dash or the engine pictures? Thank you for any help & assistance!

Your pictures are blurry and I cant see where the evaporator lines go thru the firewall.
If this is a Wrangler Sport; then the odds are NO....
If it is a Sport S, Sahara or Rubicon then I would say YES....

Dude cmon man....Call the damn dealership back and ask to speak with someone until you get the answers you need. If your crappy sales guy can't ask for someone else.

I wouldn't drive down on a blurry picture and an internet answer either....

The button in the center of the climate controls says a/c it looks like it. If so then yes

Is it a four door? All four doors come standard with air even base sport models (which this is) if its a two door, you might be S.O.L

That's really irrelevant since rubicons can come with no power windows.

Sorry about the pictures I just copied them from the website. it's a 2 door, and it looks like an Sport S since it has the better tires/rims.

This is the link for where I found the vehicle:

Middle knob on bottom row shows an A/C knob than goes from blue to red. Unless someone put 17" wheels on a Sport, it's a Sport S. Also, find a good salesperson. Everything that the above posters have said. Either way, good luck in your search and feel free to ask more questions.

Sport s comes standard with power windows and locks. That's the part of the 24s package that makes a sport an s model. And just cause it has a hot and cold side doesn't mean that's ac. It just means it will blow the coldest air it can from outside circulation it must have the snowflake in the center of the left knob

It has the leather wrapped wheel and shift knob, definitely a Sport S.

Ok well ill explain this since no one else here seems to know very well, OP Listen here, this is a base sport model that has basically nothing added except the auto tranny. Doesn't seem to have AC from my view of it and from having to same gauges mine has a snowflake on the far left fan strength gauge. Middle has the cabin circulation button and right has my hardtop rear defrost. It has sport s rims and tires but that is all. Sadly this is a bad price too I believe as base sport 2 doors go for around 23-24 sticker and invoice is around 22. Most people can get a new one of this model for around 21-22k easily. This my friend is not a good deal don't waste your time your welcome

^ignorant post over.

He told he he didn't know or wasn't sure so you would come look at it. Once your on the lot they have a better chance of making a sale.

No problem buddy just wanted to give you some facts. It's not easy buying a car and I would tell you to wait till you find the right one. If you wanna throw up your zip code ill look and see what they have around you and tell you which one looks like the best deal. Assuming you want 12+ 2 door auto transmission?

Too late found this beauty is 44 miles away though but the same exact thing as the other one just with the actual sport s package with less mileage and only a few dollars more. check it out

Yeah 2012 or 2013 preferably with auto & ac.. I'm not too concerned about any other packages like power locks/windows etc (never learned manual)
This is actually my first real new car, got my 94 GC used like 8 years ago and it's time for the upgrade

Sorry hers a pic of the car and if you notice the dash picture, the three gauges all have a button that can be pushed. Left is air, middle is circulation, right is Defrost

Sick, that was quick! I'll have to inquire about this one now haha. That little extra money is worth it! Less miles too!

Thank you so much. What is that app? Cars.com or something?

Ya cars it's a great app. It's a great price and I have an auto check login too to check the history report too that ill do in a second. Great proce Especially since that package is I think like 15-2500$ extra on sticker and its less mileage.

Damn had an accident in December 2011. Front collision with other vehicle doesn't get into what was damaged, could be as little as just the bumper being cracked but if you really are interested I would thoroughly inspect the front components. Pop the hood look down to the radiator and see if everything looks right and not pushed in. Check underneath like the trackbar, steering stabilizers, and anything else to see if they look a little pushed back

Plus is no frame damage or major damage reported so ya never know. Seen a lot of accidents photos of jks and most just seem to put dents in the bumper and like destroy the other car so hey it really might not be too bad

Crap, I think it's still worth checking out. If I feel it's sketchy or something I have no problem saying no and walking away. There's got to be something to do in NJ? It sucks I'm not very knowledgeable with cars. I'd inspect it but I wouldnt really know something was wrong unless it was completely obvious.

Yeah unless it was a devastating accident I can't see it being substantial damage but ya never know

I sold cars for a while and it's not to tough to tell to be honest. You can see if something is wrong. Look for new bolts or bolts that don't match other ones
