Doing it all over

I’m buying/bought a new Wrangler Sport S. Should be picking it up today or tomorrow. I’m reading these post like a mad man. Lots of great info. Thx people. First thing I’m going to fluid film the bottom ASAP per suggestions on this forum.

So my question to all you veteran Wrangler owners, If you were buying your new Jeep tomorrow what are some of the first things you’re going to do to it besides jump in and have fun.

Thanks

Jay

Since the goal (I assume) is NOT to spend money on your JK, but rather to enjoy it to the max, don't you think you should drive it till you notice something bugging you, then fix or replace that? Asking somebody else what you need to do to your Jeep seems like you have some money burning a hole in your pocket and just want to spend it.

Hard top hoist and door bags... run naked while you can!

Thank you people.

I'm not looking to throw money into the jeep just because. Hell I'm doing that right now partying on Cape Cod.

I'm looking for ideas on what would enhance my new jeep experience. Fun things, added comfort, coolness, and so on.

So far a grill is a must. Can't believe they sell a jeep without. Lots of good post on ideas for that.
Painting under the jeep as well as muffler for sure.

Not sure about the head lights. I hear everyone complaining but I don't find them to be an issue. Did they change them for 2016? Mine seem fine. Would def like more lights to play off road or burnout people retina's if they won't get out of the way. But for road driving I think the headlights are fine.

I would have the dead pedal ready to install. I am also tall, so I removed the seat bolts, inserted a few washers in the front and then tightened the bolts back down to raise the front lip of the front seat. It is now the most comfortable "car" seat I have ever sat in and the head room.......cannot beat it.

Being on my 5th and 6th JKs, I've "done it all over" several times already.

I have no real regrets. But maybe next time I'd switch to Goodyear Duratracs sooner.
