dolly trailer

i have 2012 wrangler was wondering if it is possible to use a trailer doller to haul another car behind my jeep. i was thinking about buying another vehicle and hauling it home.

The short answer based on legality is no. The max tow capacity is 2,000 pounds on a 2 door so unless you're buying a Honda fit, smart car, MG or old bug, you probably can't legally tow it

I've seen much more towed, but in an accident it would increase liability. Ultimately it's your decision and I'd be a hypocrit to say it can't be done or to start a rant

Other safer alternatives are renting a towing equipped uhaul or getting a lowes/home depot truck

Finally, unless you own a dolly, youre out of luck because uhaul won't even rent it to a 2 door owner
