Jeep should just come out with a hemi conversion kit or a jk with a 4.0 or something!
charge an extra $500 for the 4.0 or something.

There is no requirement for a "HEMI" option offered with the JK/JKU jeep, unless you plan on entering NASCAR/WINSTON circuits--

From what I hear, they will be offering the 5sp auto /w the "Jesus" engine--However, i'm afraid they will still stay with the 4.10 diff gears--and even with the new tranny-it won't do the trick---there's still gonna be re-gearing !!

Pat how far are you from Wrigley's field? If we are coming all the way to Chicago might as well watch a game. Hopefully the Bears are home when we are coming.

5 hours from Buffalo to Detroit thru Ontario.

Another 4-5 to Chicago.

I think it's like 15-20 miles. Probably 7 hours with Chicago traffic Actually 30 minutes.

And I'm 5-6 from Buffalo. That's about 16hrs-17hrs. I plan to be on vacation for that week anyway so the time/distance won't be a problem. Thanks guys for the input. Didn't mean to hijack your thread cremaley. Sorry about that.

That's pretty close. Ever drove in Manhattan? You can become a grandparent just trying to get crosstown. And the G.W. Bridge is bad in itself but when the Yankees are home on top of the normal bridge traffic and you have a recipe for the perfect gridlock.

Yes. I live in NJ and work in the city 3 days a week. I used to live in Chicago. And before that, Maryland outside DC. The Capital Beltway is brutal too.

Well the dealer finally called me to come in to order my Jeep. Took them long enough. I'm heading there now.
