Door Entry Guards

I am shopping for door entry guards for our 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and am looking for suggestions? I read somewhere that these guards can cause rust....is that true?

Get the stainless steel, if you do. I got the black, painted Rugged Ridge entry guards and the paint is coming off, rust is forming. Don't like it butting up against the vehicles paint either. Going to get a new set, this time they will be SS. Other then that, mine had the 3M double sided tape and they are a BIATCH to get off! That tape is something else! Going to try a heat gun to loosen them up.....good luck!

I got the plastic ones from the dealer, fit good and don't scratch. Not worried about moisture as they fit like any other plastic trim piece.

I bought the plastic Mopar ones from Quadratec. I kept kicking the sill plate getting in, which scuffed the paint (came off, though).

The RedRock 4x4 Entry Guards are stainless steel and won't rust. The only rust you'd get is if you had bare metal on the tub and you try to cover that up with the guards. Let me know if you have any questions at all or if you'd like a quote!
