Door Hinges?

Anyone replace the stock fabric hinge with a regular 3 position hinge?

I seen one on a Jeep parts page, now I cant find it.

I think I would like to try one out.

Hard at times to open the door and keep it open with your foot, while grabbing for stuff, and not having the door hit the car parked next to ya.

Anyone got a link to a site that sells these, or if any of you have used them. Let me know.

Thanks.

That is a limiter, not a hinge. Take off the doors and your problem is solved.

4wd.com and Quadratec both have them.. go on their sites and search. One of the best "tools" you can have (even if you don't buy from these two companies) is both of their catalogs in your house to flip through for ideas. You can order them (free) on their catalog.

And if that doesn't work, you can use one of the catalogs to prop open the door!!

Until you get the hinge, you can just twist the strap a couple of times and it will keep your doors from swinging so far open or you can run a stitch on it to shorten it as well.

Man I cant figure out where I seen these at? Went all over the Qudaratec book, 3 times. Thought for sure it was in there?

The one I seen was Al. with 3 stops in the arm. Looked really nice.

And I thought for sure I seen it in the Quadratec Magazine?

O well,, no biggie. Im sure it will turn up. Might try the twisty thing too.
