Doors and Freedom Top Storage Ideas

I have been thinking about getting a cart to store my doors and freedom top on when not in use. I am looking for some feedback on those of you that have used carts.

I have also thought about just getting a hoist for the freedom top and storage bags for the doors, as I have seen many doors banged up just being in a garage. Any suggestion on bags?

Even anyone has any ideas on door hooks, I would consider that as well.

Most people make DIY racks or holders,
I've seen some pretty interesting door holders that people made on here.
Best option for the top is a hoist. I see them on Craigslist all the time.

I store mine on the jeep where I can use them. I put 500 miles on my jeep this weekend, mostly at 75 to 80 mph. I really wouldnt want to do this topless and doorless. But, we all use our jeeps for different purposes and that is cool. To each is own.

I've been using the Bestop hardtop and door cart combo with cover for a couple of years now, and it's been working out great for me. It stays outside under the hot Southern California sun and occasional rain, and it's been holding up very well aside from some color fading on the cover.

I built mine using these instructions. Should have cost me about 15 bucks but I went with red wood and bigger wheels so ended up spending 37 i think.

Getta RACOR HD HOIST-$99 bucks and store you top on the ceiling !!

Available in Costco/Amazon/Ebay-

Great unit 250lb limit, works like a skylight, to open/close--(lift/lower)-

Pic doesn't show the complete platform that comes withit--works good, took my top off one time--no pic !

I got a harken hoist to lift the top off the Jeep and then strap it to the ceiling with long, heavy tie downs.

My doors hang on the wall.

This Link no longer works. Do you have the directions to make your own door holder?
