Drain Plugs

I went to bed last night and woke up to a thunderstorm. My jeep was parked by the road completely topless. Needless to say it has some standing water. I was wondering if someone could tell me how many drain plugs are in a 2007 JK 2D. Any pics would be great for tough to locate plugs. Also, I'm thinking of taking the carpet out for a good cleaning. Any pointers or tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance

In your case, i'd say if you have standing water inside.... ALL of them are in it!!!

The drain plugs are located under the carpet. Pull the carpet out and set it aside to dry for a day or so. Pull the rubber drain plugs and your done. Im not sure how many drain plugs there are, but you'll see them once the carpet is pulled.

There should be two in the front, one in each floor board, same in the backseat, at least one in the cargo area and one in the area where your hardtop screws are held and one in the jack lift area.

Hope that helps. Good luck!
