Driver side seat issue

Has anyone had issue with the driver side seat? Mine seems to deflate. Every time I get in I have the pump it up.

Mine sits in the lowest position (wish it would go about 2 inches lower really) so I do not have that issue, however I have read complaints that when you get in and out you hit the handle and it lowers the seat.

I have this problem every day in my 2013 JKUR with side air bags. Dealer says they won't do anything about it. Does anyone else have this issue? Has anyone gotten a dealership to fix it?

Your probably grazing the height adjustment lever as your getting out of the Jeep.

You might be right. I have been careful to avoid the lever while climbing out but I didn't realize that I might be cranking the lever down each time I hop in and land down on the seat. I am not overweight so I didn't think Jeep would approve a design that changes seat height each time you hop into the seat. I'll test the theory this week...

I had the same issue with my 2010 and now with the 2013 too. I have found that when ever I fold the seat forward to allow someone to get into the back of the jeep, the height of the seat resets.

My 2012 has the side airbags and does it as well. Is that the common thread?

My 2013 JKR doesn't have the side airbags, and I have the issue. I've got grab handles so I can get in and out without bumping the lever, but occasionally I still do bump it, so every few weeks I have to pump the seat back up the last inch or so.

You can orient the lever a notch down if its bothering you. Just remove it and grind off the plastic notch. Then just put it back on at a lower level so your not hitting it when you get out of the Jeep. I just got to the point that I'll crank the seat up one click once a week, usually at the same time that I move the Jeep clock forward a minute. I embrace the little quirks
